Nella graduated from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts/Laws with Honours.

In 2012 Nella was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.

After her admission, Nella practiced in Family Law in Queensland, advising in complex family law cases, before returning to her home in Tasmania in 2015.

In addition to practising law, Nella is a qualified secondary teacher.

Nella has experience in negotiation, dispute resolution and mediation and in preparing Court material in both the Family Law jurisdiction and the Magistrates Courts.

Nella understands that her clients are often facing an incredibly difficult period in their lives and provides professional, practical and tailored advice aimed at reaching a timely outcome in parenting, property, child safety and family violence matters.
